Grainne has close to 20 years’ experience in corporate finance and international banking. She has advised listed corporates and private equity on their investments in Europe, the U.S. and Asia. Based in Singapore for the last 8 years, Grainne is currently the Director of Investments for Fine Grain Property, an international real estate investor and operator. Before moving to Singapore, Grainne was a Director of the corporate finance boutique, DC Advisory in London where she advised on billions of dollars of complex, multi-jurisdictional financings and restructurings and was responsible for returning numerous clients to financial health. Prior to that, Grainne worked in the Capital Markets division of Allied Irish Banks in London focusing on syndicated loans and CDS. She is also a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ireland and trained as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in Dublin.
Conor McCoole is Chairman of Asia Biogas Group, a regional biogas engineering and production company with ten operating biogas projects in Thailand and Indonesia. Conor is an infrastructure financing specialist and investor in renewable energy. He has spent his career, mostly in Asia, advising project sponsors and arranging project and export finance transactions. He was previously global co-head of project and export finance at Standard Chartered Bank, based in Singapore.
Kate has been in Singapore since 2014 and joined the Board of the Irish Chamber of Commerce in January 2017. She is Vice President of the Futures and Options desk at J.P. Morgan, focused on listed derivative products and new markets in APAC. Prior to moving to Singapore, Kate spent 5 years in Paris, studying and subsequently working for the New York Stock Exchange Euronext. Kate holds a joint BComm from UCD and Bocconi University in Milan. She then graduated with a CEMS International Masters of Management from Smurfit School of Business and HEC Paris, with two languages, French and Italian. She is actively involved with both the UCD and CEMS Alumni networks in Paris, Singapore and Dublin.
Sinead is currently Head of Marketing for APAC at Unruly, the global video ad tech company. Prior to arriving in Singapore in January 2016, Sinead spent 17 years in London as a marketeer carving her career initially in the agency environment before moving client-side to work for a number of global organisations within the Professional Services industry. Sinead is currently the Irish Chamber of Commerce’s newest Board Director having joined in January 2018. She is a Business Studies Graduate from the University of Limerick and holds a Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).
Pat Bourne took up his post as Irish Ambassador to Singapore in August 2018. Mr. Bourne has held many roles in the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, most recently as Director of Consular Services in Dublin. He has also served as Ireland’s Consul-General in Edinburgh as well as at Ireland’s embassies in Iraq, Iran, Denmark, Australia, and India. He is married to Sonali Rajasingham and they have two daughters.
